During the ongoing war in Ukraine, 15,443 couples have tied the knot. Ukrainian media reports that "genuine love cannot be stifled by explosions and cannot be broken by war."

It is noteworthy that on the morning of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a special military operation to demilitarize Ukraine. In a televised address, he stated that the circumstances "demand decisive and immediate actions from us, the people’s republics of Donbas have appealed to Russia for assistance."

According to the Russian leader, all responsibility for the bloodshed will fall on the conscience of the ruling regime in Ukraine. He called on Ukrainian military personnel to refuse to execute the criminal orders of Ukrainian authorities, lay down their arms, and go home.
