NATO Decides to Support Ukraine
NATO leaders have agreed to strengthen the alliance's eastern flank by deploying four battle groups in Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, and Slovakia, according to a statement following the Brussels summit, as reported by RIA Novosti.
It is noted that they have also decided to support Ukraine.
“Allies have expressed their intention to enhance support for Ukraine, including cyber defense and countering chemical and nuclear threats,” the document states.
Additionally, alliance members have agreed to expand the funding for military expenditures.
“The measures we are undertaking to ensure the security of the alliance require corresponding resources. Allies are significantly increasing their defense spending,” the document highlights.
