Kremlin Responds to Reports on Shoigu's Health Issues

The Kremlin has denied reports in the media regarding health issues of Russia's Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, explaining his absence in public as participation in the command of a special operation in Ukraine.

“The defense minister is currently facing many concerns, as you understand. A special military operation is underway. Of course, now is not the time for media activity. This is completely understandable,” said Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for the Russian president, to reporters.

Peskov urged not to believe the media reports regarding Shoigu's health problems. “Refer to the defense ministry,” he added.
