A 'New' Vahan is Born in the Sahakyan Family: The Newborn is Named After His Fallen Brother

The parents of Vahan Sahakyan, one of the heroes who was tragically killed during the 44-day war, have welcomed a son. This joyful news was shared with Auroranews by Vahan's relatives.

“Vahan was serving for 10 months when the war broke out. He was stationed in Mataghis and after fighting the enemy for 24 days, he was injured. He passed away after spending a month in the hospital,” they recounted.

Relatives of the fallen soldiers stated that a 'new' Vahan has been born into the Sahakyan family, naming the newborn boy after his fallen brother.

It is noted that Vahan was a resident of the Gusanna community in the Shirak province.
