Step by Step Progress: Zelensky on Negotiations with Russia
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that negotiations with Russia are "difficult, sometimes scandalous, but we are making progress step by step," as reported by Interfax.
The president expressed gratitude to all international mediators involved.
The first negotiations between representatives of Russia and Ukraine took place on February 28 in the Gomel region of Belarus. Subsequently, delegations met on March 3 in the Bialowieza Forest and again in the Brest region on March 7. The head of the Russian delegation, Medinsky, had previously announced that a decision was made to hold further negotiations daily via video conference.
