Russian Special Representative Leaves His Position and Russia

Anatoly Chubais is leaving his position as the special representative of the Russian Federation for international organizations. According to a report by Ria Novosti, this information has been confirmed by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President.

"Yes, Chubais has voluntarily resigned. Whether he has left or not, that is his business," Peskov stated.

The source notes that Chubais has left Russia. Kommersant, in turn, reported that Chubais was seen yesterday in Istanbul, near an ATM.

It is important to mention that Anatoly Chubais has held the position of special representative of the President of the Russian Federation since December 4, 2020.
