A Car of a Forensic Expert from Aragatsotn Province Set on Fire in the Yard of Ashtarak Hospital

The criminal investigation department of the Ashtarak police is preparing materials regarding the intentional destruction of property.

According to shamshyan.com, on March 21 at around 19:00, Ara Dallakyan, a 40-year-old resident of Yerevan, reported to the Ashtarak police that an unknown person or persons had set fire to his Kia vehicle parked in the yard of the Ashtarak Medical Center on the same day.

It was revealed that the fire had damaged the lower left headlight, the plastic frame, and the protective shield of the Kia vehicle.

According to information from the site, at around 23:00 on the same day, the criminal investigation department of the Ashtarak police detained a 35-year-old resident of Shirak Province, identified as A. H., on suspicion of intentionally damaging Mr. Dallakyan’s car by arson. He confessed that he had committed this act using acetone.

The victim, Ara Dallakyan, works as a forensic expert in Aragatsotn Province.
