Incident in Yerevan: Young Girl Climbs Crane Near Russia Mall

Today, on March 23, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 03:30, the emergency situations ministry's crisis management center received a call indicating that a girl had climbed a construction crane located near the Russia Mall shopping and entertainment complex, and that rescuers were needed to bring her down.

According to shamshyan.com, while firefighters were en route, police officers attempted to persuade the girl to come down. However, she did not respond to their questions. A firefighting crew from the ministry of emergency situations arrived on the scene, as well as a medical team from the city’s emergency services.

The police managed to climb the crane and, with great difficulty, were able to bring the girl down to the emergency vehicle. The medical team from ambulance brigade number 12 first provided her with emergency medical assistance on-site, and then transported her to University Hospital No. 1.
