Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the Italian Parliament via video link, stating that the country is on the brink of survival following the invasion of Russian forces.

As reported by Daily Mail, he urged Italian lawmakers to impose new sanctions against the Russian economy, emphasizing that only by increasing pressure on the Kremlin can they withstand the assault.

"For Russian forces, Ukraine is the gateway to Europe, where they want to invade. But barbarism must not be allowed to enter. We are on the verge of existence," said the Ukrainian president.
