Closed Session on Artsakh Issues Taking Place in Parliament

Currently, a closed session is taking place in the National Assembly regarding the humanitarian situation created in Artsakh. Representatives from the three parliamentary factions and government officials are attending the meeting, including Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan.

The proposal to hold the meeting behind closed doors was made by the "Civil Contract" faction. The faction leader, Haik Konjoryan, noted that this issue not only attracts widespread public interest in Armenia but also outside of the country.

“Discussions on this issue may contain security-related questions concerning Artsakh and Armenia, which we cannot discuss openly and directly. As for Armenia's national and state interests and the security situation in Artsakh, we cannot afford to discuss these matters in an open forum,” added Konjoryan.
