Russian Ministry of Defense Announces Use of Hypersonic Weapons in Ukraine
The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced the new use of hypersonic weapons, specifically the "Kinzhal" complexes, as well as "Caliber" cruise missiles launched from the Black and Caspian Seas to strike Ukrainian military targets.
"The Caliber naval cruise missiles launched from the waters of the Caspian Sea, along with hypersonic aeroballistic missiles from the 'Dagger' aviation missile systems airborne from the territory of Crimea, have destroyed a large storage base of fuel and lubricants near the village of Konstantinovka in Mykolaiv region," said Igor Konashenkov, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
He added that the main supplies of fuel for Ukrainian armored vehicles in combat zones in southern Ukraine had been carried out from this base.
"From the waters of the Black Sea, Caliber cruise missiles launched from the Nezhin repair factory have destroyed repair workshops for Ukrainian armored vehicles that were damaged during military operations," Konashenkov stated.
