VIDEO: Have Diseases Been Transferred to Humans Through Bats in Kharkiv? What the Russian Ministry of Defense Revealed

A secret project has been carried out under US supervision at a laboratory in Kharkiv, studying the ways diseases are transmitted to humans through bats. This announcement was made today by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Major General Igor Konashenkov.

“Russian specialists from the radiation, chemical, and biological protection forces have examined the original documents revealing the details of a covert project studying the transmission of diseases to humans via bats, implemented by the US in Ukraine based at the Kharkiv laboratory. I want to emphasize that according to the documents, these studies have been conducted regularly in Kharkiv over many years under the direct supervision of American specialists,” he stated.

The general added that as part of the American project, the Kharkiv Veterinary Institute studied wild birds as vectors for highly contagious avian influenza transmission. At the same time, the conditions under which the transmission processes could become uncontrollable, cause economic damage, and pose food security risks have also been evaluated.
