Biden and Xi to Discuss Situation Surrounding Ukraine

US President Joe Biden and Chinese leader Xi Jinping will discuss the situation surrounding Ukraine. According to the White House, the leaders of the two countries will meet on Friday to address "the management of competition between the two countries, as well as Russia's war against Ukraine and other issues of mutual interest."

"This is part of our ongoing efforts to maintain open lines of communication between the United States and China," the statement said. Xi and Biden last spoke in November during a virtual summit.
