VIDEO: Death Toll High as Missile Strike in Donetsk Leaves Severe Consequences
On March 14, around 11:30 Moscow time, a tactical 'Tochka-U' missile was launched from the territory controlled by the Kyiv nationalistic regime towards a residential area in Donetsk city. This was reported by the special representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
“The shelling of the city has been carried out from the north-west direction, specifically from the area of Krasnoarmeysk, which is controlled by Ukrainian nationalistic units,” the representative stated.
It is noted that as a result of a cluster munitions explosion in the center of Donetsk, 20 civilians have been killed. Additionally, 28 others, including children, have sustained serious injuries and have been transported to medical facilities.
“The use of such weapons in a city where there are no armed forces' firing positions and are deliberately applied against the civilian population constitutes a war crime,” the statement emphasized.
