Ukrainian Drone Downed in Croatian Capital Carried 120-Kilogram Bomb
A drone that crashed in the Croatian capital, Zagreb, was carrying a bomb weighing up to 120 kg, a source from the Croatian Ministry of Defense reported.
Defense Minister Mario Banozic stated that elements of the drone could indicate the participation of the Ukrainian side in its launch.
“However, there are still many questions,” the head of the military department's words were quoted by TASS, referencing Croatian Radio and Television.
According to the defense ministry source, “when the drone fell on soft ground, the explosion occurred underground.”
He added that if the bomb had “hit asphalt or concrete, the consequences would have been disastrous.” In connection with the incident, Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic deemed it necessary to enhance information exchange among EU member states and NATO.
