Iran Claims Responsibility for Missile Attack Near US Consulate

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran has claimed responsibility for a missile strike on Erbil. This was reported by Lenta.ru.

According to representatives of the Corps, the targets of the missile attack in Iraq were Israeli facilities.

The Guardians of the Revolution also warned Israel that in the event of new attacks, they would respond with a severe, resolute, and devastating counterstrike.

"The peace and security of the Islamic homeland is a red line for the armed forces of Iran," they stated.

The missile strike towards Erbil occurred on March 13, where 12 ballistic missiles were launched in the direction of the new building housing the US consulate.

There were no casualties or injuries reported.
