Armenian Civilian Killed in Ukraine

The first casualty among the Armenian community's peaceful population in Ukraine has been reported. This was announced to Radiolur by the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs.

The victim is from the city of Kherson, where active military operations are taking place. The Commissioner’s office reports that the deceased, Vahik Sogomonian, is an ethnic Armenian and a citizen of Ukraine.

The date of birth and other details are currently being clarified.
