Russian Proposals Have Lost Their Force: Ryabkov
The proposals sent by Russia to NATO and the USA regarding security guarantees have lost their force as the situation has completely changed, stated Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov on the air of Russian First Channel.
“The situation is fundamentally different now, and the question is how to achieve the objectives that our country's leadership set before the military special operation,” Ryabkov announced.
According to the diplomat, Russia has made serious efforts to prevent the European security architecture from being undermined, which, however, has occurred due to the irresponsible policies of the Ukrainian authorities, coordinated by the West, led by the USA.
“As for the future architecture of European security, as well as the future arms control, it depends on how prepared our adversaries, our opponents, led by the USA will be for it,” Ryabkov stated, adding that Russia is ready to resume dialogue if the USA is also prepared for it.
