VIDEO: The shell exploded nearby. I felt it hit me, says a resident of Kharabakh
On March 10, in the village of Kharabakh, during agricultural work in their yard at 10:35 AM, 51-year-old Suren Arakdi Baghdasaryan sustained a shrapnel injury in the back from artillery fire fired by the opposing side. He was first taken to the Askeran regional medical facility and later to the Republican Medical Center in Stepanakert.
According to the executive director of the Republican Medical Center in Stepanakert, Mher Musayelyan, at 11:45 AM, the resident of Kharabakh approached them with a blind shrapnel wound to the waist. “His condition is stable, and there is no threat to life. At this moment, after a minor intervention, the shrapnel has been removed. We will now transfer him to the appropriate room, and probably after two hours of monitoring, we will decide whether he can go home or needs inpatient treatment,” he said.
