EU Leaders to Discuss New Sanctions Against Russia

The presidents and prime ministers of the 27 member states of the European Union will address the issue of applying new sanctions against Russia during an informal summit in Paris, prompted by the military operations that began in Ukraine.

This was stated by a high-ranking EU official to reporters in Brussels on Wednesday.

“Among other issues, EU leaders will also discuss the imposition of new sanctions against Russia,” he said.
