Azerbaijan's Goal is to Create an Energy Crisis in Artsakh: Tigran Abrahamyan
Member of the National Assembly from the "Honorary Right" faction, Tigran Abrahamyan, made a Facebook post stating:
“There has been no gas in Artsakh since last night. In the morning, we were informed by “Artsakhgaz” that the gas pipeline coming from Armenia to Artsakh has been damaged. Official notifications about the pipeline accident have been issued; however, considering the recent Azerbaijani provocations, more speculation is circulating about Azerbaijan’s involvement—specifically, an explosion.
The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Artsakh reported that Azerbaijan is obstructing the restoration work on the gas pipeline. Furthermore, there are rumors that the pipeline may be mined in various sections, making further repair efforts even more complicated.
The fact that Azerbaijan is hindering the normal process of gas supply aimed at serving the civilian population already indicates its interest in the gas pipeline accident and its long-term goals to create an energy crisis.
To say that this is an unexpected situation is definitely not true. Complications will always arise, but there will always be opportunities to find solutions and alternative routes.
For this, strong nerves, willpower, and competent individuals are needed,” he wrote.
Earlier, we reported that the Artsakh National Security Service will investigate the reasons behind the disruptions in gas supply to Artsakh.
