Mayor on Non-Functioning Clocks in Yerevan and New Fountain Complex

There are clocks in the city that do not work; I believe this is not beautiful, and it would be appropriate for these clocks to be renovated and put into operation. This was stated today, March 7, during an operational consultation at the Yerevan City Hall by the Mayor of Yerevan, Hrachya Sargsyan.

“It is good for the clocks in the city to work. Please talk to the advertisers and restore those clocks,” he said.

In front of the Saint Gregory the Illuminator Church, a fountain complex is planned to be built in 2023. The area is currently in a poor condition. Mayor Sargsyan has instructed to announce a design competition for the construction of the fountains. At the same time, it was mentioned that there should not be an issue with water supply for the site, as the waters from the metro that flow into the Getar River can serve this purpose.
