Ukraine's Ministry of Defense Reports Updated Russian Casualties

Ukraine's Ministry of Defense has presented the updated Russian losses as of March 6. Despite personnel and equipment losses, Russian forces, with air support, have concentrated their primary efforts on attempts to encircle the cities of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv, and the administrative boundaries of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions.

Since the beginning of hostilities, the total combat losses of the Russian side are as follows:

• Personnel: over 11,000
• Tanks: up to 285
• Armored fighting vehicles: 985
• Artillery systems: 109
• Anti-aircraft systems: 21
• Aircraft: 44
• Helicopters: 48
• Drones: 4
• Light high-speed boats: 2
• Multiple launch rocket systems: 50
