Turkey Will Not Impose Sanctions Against Russia

Turkey does not plan to impose sanctions against Russia and does not wish to be a party to the conflict, stated Ibrahim Kalin, spokesman for the Turkish president.

"At this moment, we do not have a sanctions plan (against Russia)... First and foremost, we certainly do not want to be considered a party in this war; we definitely do not want our economy to suffer because of it," Kalin's remarks were quoted by NTV television channel.
