I Have Been Informed About Both Distressing and Joyful News: Armenia's Human Rights Defender
The working visit of Armenia's Human Rights Defender Kristine Grigoryan to Artsakh continues. On her official Facebook page, the Human Rights Defender reported that she met with the Prosecutor General of Artsakh, Gurgen Nersisyan. The prosecutor provided details regarding actions aimed at disrupting the normal life of border communities, exerting psychological pressure on residents, and creating panic from the Azerbaijani side.
"I then visited the village of Kharamor in the Askeran region and learned about the existing issues and received information about not only distressing but also joyful news. There has been no emigration from the village after the war; everyone has returned and settled in their native Kharamor," the Human Rights Defender's post stated.
Kristine Grigoryan, along with her Artsakh colleague Gegham Stepanyan, visited one of the temporary residences of displaced persons to familiarize herself with the living conditions and challenges faced by the residents.
