Ukraine's Neutral Status Necessary to Prevent NATO Membership, Says Vladimir Putin
Ukraine's neutral status is essential to prevent the country from joining NATO. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting at the Aeroflot aviation training center.
Putin noted that the consequences of a conflict between Russia and NATO, should this happen, are "clear to everyone."
