Threats Against Relatives of Russian Prisoners of War in Ukraine

Relatives of Russian servicemen captured in Ukraine are receiving messages from various numbers, demanding that they take to the streets for protests. This information was reported by Tatiana Moskalkova, the Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia.

"I have received applications from the relatives of the boys who are held captive in Ukraine. Their phones, like all of ours, have numbers of relatives, friends, and acquaintances. These people are being threatened with revenge and murder, demanding that they participate in street protests. They have no sense of sanctity," she wrote on her Instagram page.

For security reasons, she did not disclose the names of the servicemen. Despite the threats, the relatives find courage within themselves and do not succumb to provocations. People are subjected to unprecedented information attacks and terrorism.

"My staff also receive similar messages," Moskalkova said, urging people not to fall for such provocations.
