Russian Defense Ministry on Special Operation in Ukraine: Latest Developments
The Russian Defense Ministry has reported on the latest developments regarding the special operation in Ukraine. During a single night, the forces of the Donetsk People's Republic advanced 27 kilometers and took control of the settlements of Novogrigorovka, Novonikolaevka, Vishnevatoye, Volnoye, Listvyanka, and Antonovka.
With the fire support of the Russian Armed Forces, the Luhansk People's Republic forces reached the Boguslavka-Telmachovka-Kalinovka line. In the last 24 hours, the Russian Armed Forces have taken control of the settlements of Priobrazhenka, Komsomolskoye, Zagornoye, Dorozhnyanka, Reshetilovskoye, Konstantinovka, Shevchenko, Chubarievka, Proletarskoye, and Lyubimovka.
The armed forces of the Donetsk People's Republic continue to tighten the noose around Mariupol, with Azov and Aidar militants taking positions in schools, hospitals, maternity wards, and kindergartens and firing at the units of the people's militia.
Russian military forces have destroyed an ammunition depot in a Zhytomyr military unit within a single day, which housed Javelin and NLAW anti-tank missile systems. Overall, the operation has resulted in the destruction of 2,037 military infrastructures in Ukraine, including 71 command posts and communication centers, anti-aircraft defense systems S-300, Buk M-1, and Osa, 98 systems, and 61 radar stations.
A total of 66 aircraft have been destroyed on the ground and 16 in the air, along with 708 tanks and other armored vehicles, 74 multiple rocket launchers, 261 field artillery and mortars, and 56 drones.
