Explosive Device Thrown at Russian Consulate in the Netherlands
On March 4, an improvised explosive device was thrown at the consular section of the Russian Embassy in the Netherlands. This was announced by Alexander Shulgin, the Russian Ambassador to the Netherlands, during a broadcast on Russian 'First Channel'.
“Yesterday, an improvised explosive device was thrown at our embassy's consular section; it was supposed to explode the gas cylinder, but fortunately, it did not work,” the diplomat stated.
Shulgin noted that this is not the only incident. “Letters containing white powder have been sent to our embassy addressed to me, as well as to our military attaché and three other senior diplomats,” he said.
