Advertising Sales for Google's Services Halted in Russia

Google has suspended the sale of advertising on its services in Russia. This was reported by Reuters, citing a statement from the company.

“In light of exceptional circumstances, we are pausing Google Ads in Russia. The situation is evolving rapidly, and we will continue to share updates as needed,” the company stated.

It is noted that the suspension will also affect YouTube video hosting.

Earlier, Roskomnadzor demanded that Google stop the dissemination of false advertising messages in Russia via the YouTube video hosting platform. The agency stated that this misinformation aims to create a distorted perception of current events among the Russian online audience.
