No Airplane 'Seized' in Yerevan, Ministry Confirms
The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia has denied reports about an airplane being seized in Yerevan.
Vardan Chilingaryan, head of the railway, water and air transport policy department at the Ministry, stated in an interview with Armenpress that such an event has not occurred.
“The information regarding the arrest or seizure of the airplane is not true. Nothing like that has happened,” he said.
He explained that an airplane had landed in Yerevan and that there are documentary issues concerning its subsequent flight. “These issues are currently being clarified. That’s the whole story,” he noted.
Earlier, Sputnik Armenia reported, citing the 'Авиаторщина' Telegram channel, that one of S7 Airlines' aircraft had been detained in Yerevan.
