Why the NSS Does Not Present Revealed Corruption Schemes: 'Haylur'

The newspaper 'Haylur' reports that the National Security Service (NSS) has not provided specific and targeted information on the corruption phenomena obstructing foreign investments in Armenia from 2018 to the present day.

'Haylur' sent an inquiry based on the NSS statement that mentioned, 'Since October 2018, a separate division of the NSS has been operating, whose primary function is to combat corruption phenomena that hinder foreign investments.' In response to our inquiry, they stated, 'The phenomena obstructing foreign investments have been diverse. The disclosure and prevention of these phenomena have been carried out exclusively as part of operational-intelligence measures, the results of which are confidential.'

What specific corruption schemes the NSS has uncovered in the field of investments over the past four years, and how many cases have been brought to light, residents of the 'bastion of democracy' Armenia, evidently, cannot know: it is a state secret. Meanwhile, there was discussion about the inviolability of the principle of 'nothing will be hidden from the people.'
