“If a person, when asked whether there could be anything other than this wave of sanctions, says that only World War III could be an alternative, then he cannot fail to understand that World War III can only be nuclear. Apparently, the old instincts are still alive in the minds of our Western partners if they allow such a possibility, despite the publicly stated positions of all five permanent members of the Security Council,” said Lavrov.
