Toyota and Lexus Suspend Car Imports to Russia

Toyota and Lexus brand vehicle supplies to Russia will be temporarily suspended starting March 4. Additionally, the Toyota plant in St. Petersburg has come to a halt due to issues with component supply.

"Due to delays in component supply, the St. Petersburg plant, which produces the RAV4 and Camry, will cease operations from March 4, 2022. Currently, Toyota and Lexus vehicle supplies to Russia have been temporarily suspended until further notice due to disruptions in logistics chains in the region," representatives from Toyota Motor informed RIA Novosti.

At the same time, the company emphasized that vehicle supplies will resume in accordance with the restoration of logistics chains.
