«We Will Not Abandon Ukraine, Nor Russia»: Erdoğan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has once again commented on the indecisiveness of Europe and the US regarding the Russia-Ukraine conflict. He stated that the ineffectual stance displayed by them since February 24 has been a lesson for Turkey. This was reported by Ermenihaber.

“Despite the experience we’ve had before when our borders were threatened, this was reaffirmed during the Ukrainian crisis. What matters is our stance. Turkey will fulfill its responsibilities within NATO, the UN, the EU, and other organizations and alliances. We will certainly not make concessions regarding our national interests. We will not ignore the regional and international balances either. Therefore, we will neither abandon Ukraine nor Russia,” Erdoğan said.

According to Erdoğan, Turkey has already reached the level where it can formulate and implement its own policies through political, military, economic, technological, and intelligence infrastructures.
