Criminal Case Initiated Against Vazgen Saghatelyan for Reacting to MP Lusine Badalyan's Laughter in Yerablur
Facebook user Vazgen Saghatelyan has had a criminal case initiated against him for reacting to the laughter of pro-government MP Lusine Badalyan in Yerablur.
Saghatelyan himself clarifies that a signature prohibiting him from leaving has been applied as a preventive measure within the framework of the criminal case arising from Facebook posts. He stated in a Facebook live stream that he is still in a suspect status and has not yet been charged.
Saghatelyan provided an explanation concerning an incident related to Prime Minister Pashinyan, while the other incident pertains to Badalyan's laughter in Yerablur. He emphasized that he believes any Armenian who can laugh next to the gravestones of soldiers in Yerablur is a "*** guy."
“This is very clear, and if I have to be judged for this, then let me be judged,” said Saghatelyan, adding that he is ready to take responsibility.
