Russian-Ukrainian Negotiations Conclude

Negotiations between the delegations of Russia and Ukraine aimed at achieving peace have concluded in Belarus. According to the Pravda news outlet, this was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The discussions took place in the Gomel region, with the Ukrainian delegation led by Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov and the Russian delegation headed by Vladimir Medinsky, an aide to the President of Russia.

Prior to the start of negotiations, the Ukrainian side stated that the primary goal was an immediate ceasefire and the withdrawal of Russian forces from Ukrainian territory.

The head of the Russian delegation indicated that any agreements should be in the interests of both parties.
