Russian Military Establishes Air Superiority Across Ukraine, Russian Defense Ministry Details

Russian military forces have established air superiority across the entirety of Ukraine, Major General Igor Konashenkov, an official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, announced during a press briefing on Monday, according to interfax.ru.

According to him, the cities of Berdyansk and Enerhodar in Ukraine have come under control. “In total, since the beginning of the operation, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have struck 1,114 military infrastructure facilities in Ukraine,” said Konashenkov.

He added that specifically, 31 command posts and communication centers of the Ukrainian army have been destroyed. “314 tanks and other armored vehicles, 57 multiple rocket launchers, 121 field artillery pieces and mortars, and 274 special military vehicles have been destroyed,” he stated.

Konashenkov also reported that in the last day, Russian military forces have destroyed eight Buk M-1 combat vehicles, S-300 and Buk-1 air-defense systems, three radio-technical positions with P-14 stations, and five combat aircraft.
