I Don't Recall Ukrainians' Anger When Zelensky Honored Erdogan After He Annihilated Thousands of Armenians: Andreasian
I want to raise my hand and ask a question, just like in school. Can I ask a question? This was written by Russia-based director Sarik Andreasian on his Instagram page, commenting on the events in Ukraine.
“Tell me, does anyone remember if during the 44-day war any Ukrainian or Russian star recorded a video or wrote calls for 'Zelensky, stop, do not send weapons by air. Do not kill Armenians.' I do not recall the Ukrainians' anger when Zelensky awarded Erdogan after he annihilated thousands of Armenians. I’m trying to remember, but nothing comes to mind. I do not remember the appeals of Meladze or Dolin, nor the letters from Kozlovsky and Khamatova. Only Russian military journalists fully expressed themselves and defended justice,” the director stated.
The director recalled how Armenians urged Yuri Dud to respond to the events taking place in Artsakh, and how high-ranking representatives of the Armenian diaspora asked him to cover the events, but in response heard 'we are not interested.'
“Is it that the lives of Ukrainians are more important than the lives of Armenians, or does the Russian 'elite' think that this was not a war that would generate much 'hype' for them to get involved? Or perhaps the issue is that Armenia, as a platform for making money, is not that important to those who are currently outraged. Probably, the problem is that Russia was playing a role as a game-maker in that war, and individuals like Dud had no motivation to cover it and express their opinion, as he could not deal with the issue of dirtying the country,” the Russia-based director wrote.
