British Petroleum to Divest Its Stake in Rosneft, EU to Buy and Supply Arms to Ukraine for the First Time

The European Union will finance the purchase and supply of weapons to Ukraine for the first time, announced the head of the European Commission.

British Petroleum has announced that it will divest its 19.75% stake in Rosneft.

The EU has completely closed its airspace to Russia.

The EU will prohibit all transactions with the Central Bank of Russia. Additionally, the EU will present a package of economic and personal sanctions against Belarus.

Russia Today and Sputnik will be banned in EU countries.

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has assured that no troops will be sent from Belarus to Ukraine, nor will missiles/aircraft/helicopters fly there, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Hungary will not supply weapons to Ukraine, announced Prime Minister Orban.

The International Sambo Federation is suspending competitions in Russia and Belarus.
