VIDEO. Azerbaijanis Threaten the People of Artsakh with Force: David Babayan Comments on the Situation
Azerbaijanis have threatened the people of Artsakh with the use of force. David Babayan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh, commented on the situation.
What should we expect from the Azerbaijanis? Only anti-Armenian policies. Babayan informed Auroranews of this.
It is noteworthy that near the administrative border of the village of Khramort in the Askeran region of the Republic of Artsakh, representatives of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces announced via loudspeaker that residents must leave this land and not settle in Khramort anymore, as they claim it is supposedly Azerbaijani territory. Otherwise, they threatened to use force.
"They have not abandoned their insidious methods of operation. There will not be a large-scale war in Artsakh for two reasons: the will and spirit of the Artsakh people are unbroken, and there are Russian peacekeepers present. It is important that the population does not panic, as local Armenians are being psychologically undermined, once again delivering a dirty blow to the Russian peacekeepers," stated Babayan.
We also inquired with the Foreign Minister of Artsakh: did the Russian peacekeepers respond to this incident and take any action? Babayan reported that, one way or another, the peacekeepers have been a restraining force. "They would have long embarked on an adventure if it were not for the peacekeepers. We must never forget who Azerbaijan is. But that does not mean we should hate ordinary people. 'Azerbaijan is a Nazi state. What can we expect from them?'" emphasized our interviewee.
