"We Are Left Alone". Zelensky Announces Number of Casualties
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has reported that as of February 24, 137 soldiers have been killed and another 316 have been injured due to the Russian assault.
He dismissed social media rumors about his departure from Kyiv, stating, "We are left alone in the defense of our country; everyone is afraid, and no one wants to fight alongside us."
