Over 150 Ukrainian Law Enforcement Officers Surrender Their Weapons

More than 150 servicemen from various Ukrainian law enforcement agencies have surrendered their weapons as a result of the military special operation carried out by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the Donbas republics, announced the spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Major General Igor Konashenkov. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

“During the military operations, over 150 servicemen from various Ukrainian law enforcement agencies laid down their arms and surrendered. On Zmeyiny Island, 82 Ukrainian servicemen laid down their weapons and voluntarily surrendered. The Russian Armed Forces are currently urging them to sign an agreement to refuse participation in military operations, and they will soon return to their families,” he said.
