Georgia Will Not Participate in Economic Sanctions Against Russia

Georgia will not participate in economic sanctions against Russia. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili, as reported by News-Georgia.

“I want to clearly and unequivocally state that Georgia, considering our national interests and the interests of our people, is not going to participate in financial and economic sanctions against Russia, as this would further harm our country and our population,” he said.

Garibashvili emphasized that when making such decisions, he will be “guided exclusively by the interests of Georgia.”
