We Will Distribute Weapons to All Who Wish to Defend Our Land: Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has introduced a bill on universal mobilization to the Rada. He also announced that the state will distribute weapons to all citizens capable of defending Ukraine. This was stated by the president during a press briefing, as reported by 'Ukrinform'.

“We are already distributing weapons to all who wish to defend our land and will continue to do so for anyone able to protect our sovereignty. The future of the Ukrainian people depends on every citizen. Anyone with combat experience who can join Ukraine's defense must report immediately to the relevant recruitment centers,” the head of state said.

He noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs is engaging its veterans for the country's defense. “Now working is also a form of defense in these complex conditions. Therefore, the future will depend on every enterprise, on every entrepreneur,” Zelensky added.
