Starting Today, Kristine Grigoryan Takes on the Functions of the RA Human Rights Defender
Yesterday marked the end of Arman Tatoyan's term as the Human Rights Defender of Armenia. As of today, Kristine Grigoryan, former Deputy Minister of Justice, takes on the functions of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia.
It is noteworthy that Grigoryan was elected to the position of Human Rights Defender on January 24 in the National Assembly, with a vote count of 68 in favor and 0 against. Tatoyan assumed the office of Human Rights Defender on February 23, 2016.
