Italian Giants Compete for Henrikh Mkhitaryan's Transfer
Inter and Milan are interested in the services of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, the midfielder for Roma and the Armenian national team. Undoubtedly, one of the most sought-after players in the upcoming transfer market is Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The Armenian footballer may leave Rome to join one of Italy's two leading clubs, either Inter or Milan. His contract expires this summer, and the capital club does not plan to extend it, reports Armsport.am.
According to the source, both clubs are looking for a player who can bring speed to the midfield, and the Armenian player could be the right acquisition as he is capable of playing in various midfield positions within the 3-5-2 and 4-2-3-1 formations. Therefore, he would fit into the tactics of Simone Inzaghi and Stefano Pioli. For its part, Fantamaster reports that Roma has not yet decided on Mkhitaryan's future.
The contract linking Mkhitaryan to the team ends in June, and so far there have been no discussions regarding a possible extension with the player's agent. Therefore, it is possible that the Armenian footballer will leave Rome this summer. Earlier, Russian and Italian media circulated news that Dynamo Moscow is also interested in Mkhitaryan's services.
