EU Imposes Sanctions on Over 300 Duma Deputies
The European Union will impose sanctions on 351 members of the Russian State Duma and an additional 27 individuals and entities due to the recognition of the independence of Donetsk and Luhansk, which are separated from Ukraine, as reported by the EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell.
According to Borrell, the President of Russia is not included in the list of sanctions.
Prior to this, the French Foreign Minister announced that the EU countries had reached an agreement on a sanctions package against Russia.
