Turkey's President Cancels African Tour: What Is the Reason?
Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has canceled his African tour on Tuesday in order to participate in the NATO leaders' summit, which will be held online on Wednesday. This was announced by the Turkish leader's office to TASS.
“Our president will attend the NATO leaders' summit tomorrow, which will take place virtually. For this reason, the visit to Guinea-Bissau, which was the third stop on his African tour, has been postponed for a later date,” the agency's source stated.
It is expected that Erdoğan and his delegation will return to Turkey on Tuesday evening after visiting Senegal.
