Germany Freezes Nord Stream 2 Project

The German government has frozen the Nord Stream 2 project. This was announced by the head of the German Foreign Ministry, Annalena Baerbock, today ahead of the informal meeting of EU foreign ministers in Paris.

“Russia must feel the consequences of its actions,” said the German Foreign Minister. “The German government has frozen Nord Stream 2 right now,” she noted. “We have always said that Nord Stream 2 is part of the measures.”
